Concrete is the second most used material on earth and the most destructive one.

The manufacturing process of concrete is responsible for over 8% of global CO2 emissions. 90% of the carbon footprint is due to the cement used to make concrete . 1 ton of cement emits 1 ton of CO2 pollution, and with over 4 Billion tons of cement produced annually & increasing as our cities expand, a more sustainable solution presents a massive opportunity for impactful CO2 reduction globally.


So we created a nature based cement replacement that replaces traditional OPC

in the production process of concrete, reducing the carbon footprint at the point of manufacturing, and turning concrete into an active CO2 capture & storage solution post-cure.

Concrete made with Carbon Limit’s cement technology has the ability to actively attract and capture CO2 pollution directly from the air and store it permanently .

Our cement replacement is the only solution that provides Pre-Cure and Post-Cure decarbonization. It is easily adoptable, lowers the carbon footprint of concrete projects, and can help satisfy EGS requirements. Most importantly, it was spec'd to meet the highest DOT standards. Unlike other lower carbon footprint solutions in the market, our solution does not require calcination, additional equipment, processing, or 3rd party feedstock. It can be used in almost any type of concrete project including buildings, roads, sidewalks, barriers, and more. At scale, the cost can be equal to or potentially lower than the cost of traditional cement.

Our technology has been lab tested by 3rd party research facilities, including the Heritage Research Group, Purdue University, Milestone, and in process with University of Miami, Ash Grove and others. Our Test results show UP TO 75% CARBON FOOTPRINT REDUCTION compared to standard concrete, 13% improvement in compressive strength by day 28. Performance is imporoved post cure as concrete develops self healing properties.

We sell our cement the same way traditional cement is sold to cement and concrete companies, as well as end users. We are currently running pilots around the US and LATAM. Our goal is to license our technology in order to scale globally.

Using our cement technology will also generate high quality, nature based & permanent carbon credits which we are in the process of verifying, bringing additional revenues as well as value 
to our customers.

In the near future, A machine learning tool will allow our customers to quantify how much CO2 was captures and stored in the concrete, just by taking a picture of it.

We are in two of the biggest and fastest growing markets in the world; the cement market as well as the carbon credits market. Last October, the Global cement and concrete industry made a commitment to reach NET ZERO by 2050 & reduce carbon footprint by 25% by 2030.
